For the past 5-6 years my wife and I have went to Tunica at least once a year. We both like to play and since Vegas is so massive we prefer Tunica. A smaller scale friendlier type of place. This year we decided to go there for our 20th Anniversary. KennyChesneywas also playing at the Horseshoe and thought it great timing. I called and made reservations in August, (2 months in advance) to stay 3 nights in October. After driving 600 miles to get there, we went to check in and was informed that there was not a reservation for us!! I explained that I did and gave them my confirmation number again. FINALLY they found the number and told me that reservation was for September. 1 month ago for 1 night. I showed the clerk the paper where I had written the dates, confirmation number etc. She looked at it and began calling people. After 3 different people I supposedly was told by the supervisor that they might let me stay THAT night but would have to move out because they were full up. I COULDN"T BELIEVE IT!! I asked if they were going to do that since it was clearly someone on their staff being incompetent. She replied, " We are full and I am very busy, we have a concert happening this weekend." NO JOKE!!?? Tunica, especially the Horseshoe and it's staff have got so impersonal and uncaring that I only have 1 thing to say. I WONT BE BACK!!
